Official census results showed that the population of Port Blandford grew 5.1% between 2016 and 2021, from 488 people to 513.
Many of the changes that took place in Port Blandford during its first 50 years were challenging to the town’s sustainability, and resulted in population losses of almost 40% over that time period. Efforts to reposition Port Blandford as a town with appeal for tourists and seasonal residents seem to be paying off in terms of community growth.
